Freya moved into her husband George’s family estate, excited to start her life as a newlywed. However, the maid, Valerie, soon revealed George’s secret life.
The estate was beautiful, but from day one, Valerie’s cold demeanor made Freya uneasy. One morning, Freya found a message on her phone: “Check your husband’s drawer. The top left one, specifically. Then RUN!”
In the drawer, Freya discovered letters from George to a woman named Elena, expressing love and a future together. The last letter, written just before George proposed to Freya, ended their relationship. A key found with the letters led Freya to the attic, where she found the walls covered in photos of George and Elena, and an ultrasound of their unborn child.
Valerie revealed that Elena was her sister. George had abandoned Elena upon learning their baby had Down syndrome. Freya confronted George’s family, exposing the truth. George was cut off, and Freya was granted a divorce.
With her newfound assets, Freya started a foundation for children with disabilities, managed by Valerie with support from George’s mother, who disowned her son.
