Princess Catherine has attended her first royal engagement following the completion of her chemotherapy.
The Princess of Wales previously shared that her treatment was finished and that she would gradually resume her royal responsibilities.

As part of this, she visited the 22 Special Air Service Regiment at Stirling Lines, a British Army garrison in Credenhill, Herefordshire, on September 17, 2024.

The official Court Circular showing the engagement of the working members of the Royal Family also announced, “The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.”

Supporters who had stood by Catherine during her chemotherapy were thrilled and relieved to learn of her return to royal duties.

One fan expressed their well wishes, “I hope she is going to be fine now, the poor young woman has been through a lot, best of luck to her for the future.” Another encouraged Catherine to keep going, “Stay strong, Princess Kate!”
Before her announcement, the public presumed she was away from the limelight due to her abdominal surgery.
One admirer also complimented her strength and beauty, “One tough lady- lovely too.” A fan acknowledged the milestone Catherine had reached, “Congratulations big step you over came.” However, one fan shared a cautionary message, “Don’t over do it, your Highness.”

Princess Catherine first opened up about her health issues when she underwent abdominal surgery and tests after the operation found that she had cancer. She spoke of this in a video shared on Instagram on March 22, 2024.
Before her announcement, the public presumed she was away from the limelight due to her abdominal surgery. A publication had even reported on March 21, 2024, that the Princess of Wales was easing back to duties by working from home. She was working on her early years project to improve the lives of babies.

The Princess’s Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood had backed a pilot program for a baby observation tool. The equipment is designed to help health visitors better identify early signs of social and emotional development in young children.

Unfortunately, after revealing that she was undergoing chemotherapy, Catherine had to step back from royal duties to prioritize her health. Now, she is gradually taking on work responsibilities as fans urge her not to overexert herself.

She acknowledged the complexities of battling cancer, describing it as “scary and unpredictable for everyone,” but also highlighted the strength it has brought her.

Reflecting on her journey, the Princess opened up about the emotional toll and new perspectives gained, stating, “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before.”

Looking forward, Catherine is hopeful about the future but aware of the ongoing path to recovery. She assured the public that while she has finished chemotherapy, her focus now is on staying cancer-free.
